2023 Municipal: 8 vote centers will be open for Grant County voters

WHERE YOU CAN VOTE ON ELECTION DAY:

Grant County now has Vote Centers instead of precinct polling sites. Since only Marion and Van Buren have contested Primary races in 2023, the Election Board has approved opening only the four Marion vote centers and the Van Buren vote center. The Primary Election is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 2. Every eligible voter in Marion and Van Buren can cast their Primary ballot in any of those 5 locations:

Vote centers in Marion:

  • YMCA, 123 Sutter Way

  • The Tabernacle (formerly known as Calvary Social Brethren Church), 304 N. Miller Ave.

  • St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1204 W. 14th St.

  • Lakeview Wesleyan Church, 5316 S. Western Ave.

Vote center in Van Buren:

  • United Methodist Church (Fellowship Hall), 105 S. 2nd St.

EARLY IN-PERSON VOTING:
Starts 4/4/23!

  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. M-F through April 28

  • 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the two Saturdays before Election Day (April 22 and 29)

  • 8 a.m. to noon Monday, May 1

The city of Marion's bus system offers rides to the polls within city limits by appointment.

For early in-person voting, they will pick you up from anywhere within the city limits and take you to the Grant County Courthouse.

​

On Election Day, they will pick you up from anywhere in within the city limits and take you any of the three polls within the city limits, the YMCA, and Calvary Social Brethren Church, and St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.
